About IPA-Tanzania

Mabalozi wa Amani Kimataifa: Dedicated to human transformation, global peace, and environmental preservation across Tanzania Mainland, Zanzibar, and the EAC.

Constitutional Preamble

Preserving the Legacy of "Kisiwa cha Amani"

Tanzania is internationally celebrated as an Island of Peace and a safe haven for refugees, travelers, and investors. This foundation was established on the peace pillars and human integrity championed by the Father of Tanzania, the late H.E. Mwl. Julius Kambarage Nyerere.

In response to modern youth unemployment, rural-urban migration, and ecological degradation, the founding members constituted IPA-Tanzania under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act No. 24 of 2002 to bridge systemic gaps.

“There will be no healthy economy on an unhealthy planet on which we live. Absolute love, readiness to forgive, and reconciliation are essential for sustainable human transformation.”

Securing Wildlife Corridors: How Community Buffer Nurseries are Restoring Mount Meru & Serengeti Perimeters

By Secretariat Directorate | 4 min read

Under Article 22.3 of the IPA-Tanzania Constitution, ecological land reclamation stands as a compulsory priority. Over past quarters, deforestation along National Park peripheries has intensified human-wildlife conflicts.

IPA-Tanzania's field office in Ngaramtoni Ya Juu has organized women and youth clusters into nursery caretakers. By cultivating indigenous acacia, African olive (Olea europaea), and indigenous fig trees, these nurseries create natural bio-fences, preserving soil moisture and cooling regional temperatures.
